I've always heard that tattoos are addictive, and I suppose to a point I'd have to agree. I have one, which I've had for several years and while I haven't gotten any others, I would be lying if I said I never thought about it or craved a couple more. What's odd is that I have places on my body that I really want some ink, but don't necessarily have anything SO important to me that I want to put it on myself forever. I've always wanted something small on my foot, for instance, and the back of my neck thanks to a beachy girl I spotted in Hawaii with a seahorse on hers. I've also always had a slight infatuation with the angel wings my cousin has on her wrist, and the tiny white feather my friend has in the same place. I've never actually thought about a tattoo on my own wrist because I have a weird issue with veins and the ones in my wrists are bright blue and jut out in a way that I hate... BUT that being said, this image makes me think I could close my eyes, turn my head, and cringe just long enough to be a major copycat. Love the idea of such a simple powerful word, although maybe in black or turquoise and a teeny bit smaller so it just peeks out from under my watch...
Ok ok let's be honest... I would probably have a minor anxiety attack trying to pick the perfect font to get it in. But I still love it, and love the idea of the daily reminder that I am, in fact, quite blessed.

Cute post. Be brave. My wife and I are in our 26TH year. After the talk was over and she actually married me, I got a tattoo of her on my arm. Underneath I wrote "Linda 'till death do us part" It was chancy, but so far so good.
My tattoo is not sexy, but almost any tattoo is sexy on a woman. Good luck.
I found your site on the "Next blog" link. Thanks
Love this post Kelly! I don't have any tats but have always secretly wanted one ~ and I love the idea of a powerful, personal word in a discreet place. I just may have to take the plunge... :)
DO IT! ;)
